As police officers and employees of this police agency, it is our duty to serve the community, to safeguard lives and property, to protect the innocent and weak against deception and oppression, and the peaceful against violence and disorder, and while doing so to respect the constitutional rights of all liberty, equality, and justice.  We are to be honest in thought and deed in both our professional and private lives.  To never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, political beliefs and aspirations, animosities or friendships influence our decisions.

The Leitchfield Police Department will provide the highest level of service through the enforcement of laws and the protection of life property, and the constitutional rights of all.
